PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Are You Left Screaming About The Ford Focus ST?

PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Are You Left Screaming About The Ford Focus ST?
Although we got word of the souped-up Ford Focus ST a couple of weeks ago, 00R didn't expect it to look this stunning in Tangerine Scream way back when.

Boasting its 250 horsepower powerplant, the Spies think that the Focus ST has the chance to become the Mustang of the Millenial generation. With a practical, hatchback design and an interior that will rival a Volkswagen -- believe 00R, if VW is heading in the direction of the 2011 Jetta for the rest of its products, it will not be "best in class" anymore -- the Focus ST is definitely carving out a nice niche for itself.

With that said we're left wondering:

How does the Focus ST stack up against the likes of the all-new Scion tC and Volkswagen Golf R?

Ford definitely has a leg up on design over VW...

I'm a fan, and those seats look comfy. And if you have seen the 2011 Passat, VW is going backwards in design and very quickly.

At some point people are going to realize that Honda, Toyota, VW are all taking steps back.

The nose is a clear cliche of the Mitsubishi Evo and GTR.I'm not totally sold on the styling.Compared to the Jetta this is obviously more "boy racerish". VW's approach is more elegant and conservative. However it could stack up quite well against the the Golf R in driving thrills.
