PARIS MOTOR SHOW: "The Future Of Jaguar" C-X75 Blasts Everyone Away In France

PARIS MOTOR SHOW:
Although 00R is six hours behind Paris time, he knows one thing: the Jaguar C-X75 has blown just about everyone away at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

It's not like he didn't hint that this car would get some serious attention yesterday...

Between it's jaw-dropping looks -- that I believe is a mix of Ford GT40, Jaguar XK and XJR-15 -- "the future of Jaguar" can go 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, has four electric motors and uses torque vectoring.

No kidding! How can you hate on a car that warns people standing behind "Beware of blast."

How does the future of Jaguar look to you?

I really like the technology behind it, but it hurts my eyes :( especially the interior.

I have never wanted anything so much in my life.

Frankly, I think the front end could be better- more contiguously-designed, but every time I see a picture through the back windshield of the two micro-turbines (particularly when they are lit by the phosphor blue lighting) it makes me realize that I just plain don't give a damn.

Exterior is great! Interior is painfully bad.

Interior doesn't matter. If they decide to put it into production minus turbines the interior is going to totally different.

I must disagree with you on the technology. Jaguar is clearly experimenting with different types of hybrid, electric technology at the moment. The Turbine range extender idea is an interesting one because of it's lightness and compactness compared to a conventional piston engine or diesel.I also think that with improved sales and Tata's money Jaguar will be a lot more comitted to producing nice driving cars. The XJ75 is one example of a GT that shows how a big GT can handle like an agile sportscar.
