How is it a shame? Nothing is perfect in this world, and as complex as ALL cars are to design, and build something is very likely to go wrong. What would be a true shame is if this happens to RR often, but it dose not.

Rolls Royce is sold on the notion of perfection, so ya it's a bit of a problem to have a roll royce recalled

Nothing man made is perfect and it would be unwise to think differently.

Its always a good thing...and sometimes forgiveable when a company does the right thing and voluntarily recalls their product. When you have to have your butt dragged to court just to admit you have a problem...that's unforgiveable in my book.

Well, at least the brakes will still work on all of these vehicles. They just may have a faulty power assistance. Im just glad they admitted the problem and are going to fix it and not let the problems run their course.

Once all the brake fluid is lost there will be total brake failure.

Shame at a couple of the comments. Ive said it before and I'll say it again: ANYTHING man-made can fail...
