PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Renault Brings Sexy Back To Paris
This is what auto shows are all about: a pinch of outrageous, a dash of absurd and a dose of innovation. We present to you the Renault Dezir.
Although it may not appear so at first, the Dezir is actually a full electric vehicle underneath that skin.
But if you think this has the power to rival Jaguar's show stealin' C-X75, think again. This puppy only is putting out 150 horsepower and just under 170 pound-feet of torque. Yeah, it won't set your hair on fire but it definitely is dripping sex appeal.
Leave it to the French to sex up the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
By the way, is anyone else seeing a little Audi R8 and Koenigsegg in there?

I notice that as well but if you look at the Audi R8 from the side and 3/4 rear view it look very similar to the the Infiniti G35 coupe. And the Infiniti G35 came out way before Audi R8 did, I guess everyone copy each others.

The French always make awesome concepts (that never go to production) and this one doesn't dissapoint. The R8-esque sideblades are pretty obvious.

I would be more impressed if it weren't so derivative of the R8. I will admit, I do like what they've done with the rear end design.

Looks cool in theory. In practice that opposite opening door for the passenger must be annoying. Especially if you are in an underground parking that has low ceilings or an exhaust fan running and it just so happens it's on that side of the car. Of course anyone who owns this car probably wont spend time indoors anywhere so perhaps it's alright.

Wow! Really? Agent00R, are you really serious about this car screaming sexy? Are you okay? This car looks like an incomplete after thought. Like the folks at Renault said, "the auto-show is coming up in Paris, so let's just throw something together."
