SPYSHOT: 2008 VW Scirocco

2008 VW Scirocco

*With the Scirocco a name does not only live starting from 2008. But also a driving fun concept again up, which competitors do not have to offer such as Fords and Opel. The Scirocco 21. Century embodies the values of his predecessor: Driving fun at payable prices. The 2+2-Sitzer is to cost approximately 22,000 euro and is thereby concerning the price above gulf, however below the Eos positioned. German contest from view of OPELS and Ford does not threaten, because intentions, of animating the 70's-year cult cars Manta and Capri again do not exist. At all the competition is thinly sown in the segment of sporty Einsteiger Coupés: Except Hyundai Coupé gives it only to the Alfa Brera, on which the Scirocco with its stresses sporty pulling hurrying aims.

The Corrado was awesome when it was on sale, making the Automobile Top 10 Car list every year it was out. It was a sleeper sure, but none-the-less it handled and drove well. I am glad VW is bringing back the Scirocco/Corrado. It needs a sporty coupe I think. I would buy one over the GTi.

Obviously, its only a pshop. But it looks like other photoshops that depict the two door next generation golf as something different than the standard version.

I hope this new Scirocco has nothing in common with the older model other than the name. The Scirocco was one of the worst, if not the worst car VW ever built. It was ugly and had no shortage of mechanical problems.

It seems glass must be at a premium prices, soon all cars will just have sherman tank slits, plus why do they weigh soo much?My 1976 was the king with its
micro weight and motor.90 mph on glare ice.I am sure the 2008 would be headed for the nearest oak tree if u
attempted that!!!
