2012 Ford Focus priced from $16,270
Ford announced today that the 2012 Focus will carry a base price of $16,270 ($725 destination charge not included) and that it will offer the new model in S, SE, SEL and Titanium trim levels.

On the North American market, all the 2012 Ford Focus models will carry a 2.0-liter DI Ti-VCT delivering 155 hp and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission (an optional PowerShift automatic transmission is also available). According to Ford, the new Focus is expected to deliver a highway fuel economy of 40 mpg, when using the automatic transmission.

Wait, what exactly am I missing? I swear I built a Fiesta earlier this year on Ford's site and it was in the 20's. Even if it was fully loaded, where would that put a fully loaded Focus? Even further, a fully loaded Fusion!?
