Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Starts At $62,990 - This Isn't Your Dad's Station Wagon
The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon will be available at U.S. Cadillac dealers later this year, with pricing from $62,990, including destination. With a 556-horsepower V-8, the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.0 seconds.

"The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is a limited production offering for connoisseurs who are interested in the unique combination of V-Series performance with wagon style and capability," said Don Butler, vice president, Cadillac marketing.

Like the CTS-V sedan and CTS-V Coupe, the CTS-V Wagon features a supercharged 6.2L V-8 delivering 556 horsepower (415 kW) and 551 lb.-ft of torque (747 Nm). Power is delivered to the rear wheels through either a standard six-speed manual, or a six-speed automatic transmission. Other high-performance features include standard Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch forged-aluminum wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.

The CTS-V Wagon combines V-Series performance with the practicality of a wagon and the appointments of a luxury sedan.  The CTS-V Wagon can accommodate up to 58 cubic-feet of cargo, and features a full range of luxury amenities, such as:

  • Heated, leather-appointed seats
  • In-dash navigation system with 40-gigabyte hard drive
  • Xenon HID headlamps with adaptive forward lighting
  • Bose 5.1 Cabin Surround audio system
  • Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance Service for four years / 50,000 miles

Available options on the CTS-V Wagon include:

  • $3,400 Recaro heated and ventilated, high-performance driver and front-passenger seats
  • $800 19-inch, polished aluminum wheels
  • $600 midnight Sapele Wood trim package
  • $300 Suede steering wheel and shifter

The CTS-V Wagon is now available for ordering from Cadillac retailers in limited quantities for 2011.

Hmmm... seems perfect for older people who still want to feel young without sacrificing utility... I'm wondering what's up with the headline.

Car looks like it was designed by somebody that can only use a straight-edge! Uh, no thanks for $62,000.

GM needs to hire some designers who create stuff that doesn't look like a first year art school student's project. Bulky. Origami. Old-school grill with art-nuveau headlights. It looks like a box of hurt.

And yet, this is from the same company that creates the Corvette. Talk about bipolar disorder.

Love it. CTS design is unique, attractive and American.

@Sdcarguy: You know Sdcarguy,I completely agree with you on this. I think our peers/elders just haven't quite came to grips with it yet. That this car is very attractive and unique as you said. And most of all it is a beast. Now, grant it that it has some minor glitches that needs to be work out, but over all I think and know that this is a great car and competitor in it fields. This makes the 5series wagon look like a beluga whale on crack. I know all the fan boys hate me saying that, but face the facts. The times and season are changing in the ream of automotive. The first shall be the last and the last shall be the first.

edeus123 that's not the case what you have here is one guy with many autospies accounts doing a lot of bashing for whatever reason.

Ugh! I dislike the CTS-V now having driven one for 3 weeks. The interior materials are aweful, the switchgear is cheap feeling and poorly placed. The transmission is sluggish, if you live in a city with some camber to the roads for rain, you'll never be able to keep the doors open as you exit if parked parallel, the seats are flat with no support, the trunk doesn't even have a button to open it from the rear (you MUST use the key fob, what gives?!?). Handling is great, brakes are great, looks cool, lots of power. I wanted to love this car but now I don't. Fantastic step forward by Caddy but still not the German conquering machine that arm chair test pilots claim it to be. Give me a slower M3 or C63 any day.
