This Koenigsegg ccx is absolutely Feroucious, man it has everything power, speed and difinefly has the look. I will pick this CCX any day over the Buggati for sure. I also think it look more sporty and radical than the Buggati. Difinitely on my list of the top favorite Exotic Sport car.

That's a beast, I personally like the Veyron better. Like they said, it does need a rear wing, the Stig almost killed himself.

I see your point, but I bet the Bugatti engine is much more drivable and reliable. The Koenigsegg ccx engine borders on the point with too much boost and lower reliability. Plus,

Picture of the CC, but its close enough, all that I could find.
Now the Veyron

Both of this Ferocious beast are absolutely Outrageous. Man, talk about Power, speed and the design, man, it unblievable. But I still like the CCX much better because it look more radical, kind of like an Untame Beast if you know what I mean.

I like personally like the elegant look of the Veyron better. Plus, I was to pay over half a million dollars or more, I think the CCX is like 540,00 I don't want my interior to look like a ten year old car, or some sort of a kit car. Both are great performing vehicles. I want the stig to drive the Veron. The record for that track, is slightly under one minute for the Renault F1 race car. I wonder if the FXX has been tested. By the way, you don't need to add
for line breaks.

It does it by itself.

Hey! Chewy, I definitely agree with you that the Veyron is more elegant. Can't wait for the CCX to come back with the rear spoiler and see the stig drove it again to see how fast it goes. But I definitely want to see the Veyron Unleash it "Ferocious Power" as well on that track for sure. I really like the CCX because to me it Kind of Like an Untame Beast you know. But both of this Ferocious beast are difinitely a Marvel in Engineering, and yes the CCX is around $540,000 and you can place an order at the casino in Las Vegas.

Actually, I was wrong, the CCX will be around 722,534 thousand dollars http://www.businessweek.com/autos/content/mar2006/bw20060324_835422.htm
However, this is still only about half the price of the Veyon.
I really want to see some magazine do a test with the Veyron with their own instruments. Bugatti claims it will do 0-60 in only 2.5 seconds, I want to see someone confirm that. Check out this configurator where you can build your own Bugatti Veyron, for free.

Chewy, Veyron definitely has many color option, I personally like the Pearl and Polar Pearl for exterior color and for interior color, Grigio and snowbiege are really elegant to look at. I would also would to see some real testing of the Veyron go all blaze out from 0-60 to see if it can back up it claim in 2.5 seconds. That pretty dawn fast because the Mclaren F1 only go from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds I belief and the CCX which is an Untame Beast of itself only goes from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

Thank you for the infor

Koenigsegg CCX:
Price :$540,000
Engine :4.7 liter V8
Aspiration:twin superchargers
HP :806 @ 6900 rpm
HP/Liter :171.5 hp per liter
Torque :678 lb-ft @ 5700 rpm
Weight :2601 lbs
HP/Weight :3.2 lbs per hp
0-62 mph :3.2 seconds
1/4 mile :9.9 seconds @ 146 mph
Top Speed :over 245 mph

I am sure many of u know about the Bugatti's Performance.Compare with it.

gert123456,has a good point,but gert123456
"Koenigsegg is nipping at their heels with literally half the effort"
I think 3/4 the effort.Koenigsegg efforts are less beacuase their interior and meterials quality is also less, while making they didn't care much of it.They will be producing no more than 100,while Bugatti will be producing 120x3 years=360cars.And etc etc etc

Koenigsegg is indeed a better value,if u don't want to spen a Million Dollars but want the same performance for half the money.

And so do the new Gumpart Apollo having an egde over it's exotic competitors.
Wonder no blog from Spies about the new Gumpart Apollo.Great exotic for only $240K,but performance more than any Carrera GT or SLR...etc

It would be really nice if Lexus can come out with car that can perform like the CCX and Veyron. If Lexus produce a Superturbo charger LF-A which will bring the power up from 500+ HP to 800+ HP range that would be nice to see. And tested against the like to this and Ferrari and other exotic supercar.

The CCX is an bloody awesome car, but I don't thin the Veyron will ever have a real competitor.

Tell me, how many other supercars can go over 400km/h, have 1000bhp and quad-turbos yet be as refined and as smooth as a Phaeton?

The answer is no one. NO ONE. The Veyron is such an engineering marvel that it defies all logic.

Even if another supercar is as fast, it still won't be a Veyron rival.

Completely true, not only is the Bugatti the highest performing vehicle you can buy, it's also very luxuroius, look at that interior. I don't think it will be as smooth as a Phaeton, but it is very luxurious.

El Sparquito:Gumpart Apollodo does used some of the Audi Special workers. But they r a totally different and new brand like the Koenigsegg but unlike Bugatti.

We can't say Gumpart is the brand of Audi.Audi only have stake in them and Gumpart just hired a few Audi engineers.
In business terms we call it 'Engineering Links'

I recently gave a full lecture about these 'Business terms'.Hope u have read it.

No cloudy judgement here.

I think you misinterpreted what I said. I wan't putting emphasis on the Veyron's actual speed, but the way it can reach those speeds while remaining so luxurios and relatively refined.

I agree that, in time, the 400km/h mark will be surpassed by a road car. But you can bet your bottom dollar it will be noisy, and be more race-car than road car.

The fact is, the Veyron can reach 400km/h while having all the creature comforts, and be as usable and as reliable as any lesser supercar.

Put it this way. What would be more impressive, an Evo-9 posting a respectable time around a race track, or a fully-loaded Bentley Arnage posting the same time.

Did anyone notice that the Veyron has a 148 Km fuel range at high speed ? This means filling the tank at every 100 miles ! How far can you go with that ? Looks great on Worth Avenue or Rodeo Drive, but not a real contender for long term races such as the Gumball 3000 or Mille Miglia. Typical Volkswagen technology: overpriced and overweight.
