When Someone Purchases A Hyundai, What Is Their Number ONE Reason For Buying It?

When Someone Purchases A Hyundai, What Is Their Number ONE Reason For Buying It?
I'll be the first to say that  that average consumer is going to place reliability and gas mileage pretty high on their list in importance when buying a midsized sedan.

But do they REALLY want to be forced into a boring design?  Do they REALLY want to see the EXACT same car as theirs across the intersection at EVERY stop sign .

While those who really don't give a flip about cars may not care about these things, Hyundai has found the average urban buyer wants to at least express their style and taste in a more fashionable manner.

I guess if you think about it why should you surrender to bland and boring if you can get the same or better with some style?

Basically as we have said before STYLE MATTERS!

Also take special note to where Hyundai is pulling from when a luxury car buyer trades in for a Sonata.  They are actually pulling from across the market at higher rates than the core brands under the luxury marque they previously owned. While they may not be jumping off the ship like rats on the Titanic, this statistic has to make the competition wonder what they did wrong.

It's cheaper than the others, but not as good, so they settle.

Because they can't afford a Lexus and also for the warranty.

See 85bmw745i below.

Hyundai buyers are averaging around $70k annual income. They are probably looking at the amount of quality built into the vehicle x value vs other vehicles.

Price is almost always at the top of the list. The next thing is "if I pay less will I get less reliability?" Then we ask "will the car be good to look at?" Then we ask "will it have the equipment I am looking for?"

It's a newer design than a Camry/Accord (for now).

considering the average median income is over $70k I doubt they can't afford anything else. It is an appealing car period. I wouldn't trade my BMW in but If I wanted a brand new car for a reasonable price it would be between the sonata turbo and the VW passatt turbo, as the rest of the conpetition lacks that fun to drive performance I want. Why should you have to sacrifice performance for practiacality. That is why I would choose a VW passat over a camry/accord/malibu etc. the passat has way better and much more responsive handling, and the nicest interior of the group. It is slightly more expensive but its base engine blows the doors off of the 4 cylinder offerings of its competition and nearly matches the performance of the v6 offerings of its competitors. I see the sonata doing well and surprising many people who drive the turbo. I look at it as a cheaper alternative to the passat for those who want better performance than a camry accord malibu etc.

Wow, American cars are the last thing I would buy. The Hyundai has far superior build quality.
