BMW: 16.8% rise in-group sales for September
BMW, the largest premium automaker in the world, on Friday reported a 16.8% rise in-group sales for September, and a gain of 13.1% in sales in the first nine months of the year.

In the period up to and including September, i.e. to the end of the third quarter, a total of 1,062,216 vehicles were supplied to customers. This represents an increase of 13.1% from the same period last year (939,554).

That is Group sales. So, what on that. VW Group sales would eat that number for lunch. It is more about the brand sales, where it is very close. BMW brand is around 892K, Mercedes Brand is around 854K and Audi is around 830K. Getting very interesting considering all the upcoming model launches.
