RUF Roadster: a moder interpretation of the legendary Porsche 911 Targa
RUF, the well-known German tuning firm specialized in Porsche vehicles, revealed today the RUF Roadster, a modern interpretation of the legendary 1967 Porsche 911 Targa. The car was fitted with an integrated roll cage which combines the safety of a Coupé with the fresh air feeling of a convertible.

Furthermore, the 1967 Porsche 911 Targa was offered with a centre piece of the roof that could be removed and folded. The new car from RUF features the same specification as the old car did and also comes with a flexible plastic rear window that can be folded, just like the 911 Targa.

I didn't think anything bad could ever come from RUF. I was wrong.

I'd like it more if they used the extra wide fenders. As a Porschefile, I like it a lot! I greatly dislike the complicated modern Targa and much prefer the manual top Targa (without the leakage). Bring back the T-Top Firebirds and Camaros I say!!

I don't see the point of this. When I saw the pictures I went W T F!. The standard car is perfectly fine. This just ruined it. With RUF's reputation I thought they could do better.
