Does it still have 134hp?

This sort of does answer those who say power isn't everything.
Lexus can always give it more power. After all, they did also register the names CT 300h and CT 400h.

Anyways, I feel that this package is something that Lexus has needed all along, or maybe it's just the better photography. And I like the badge Lexus has for the F-Sport models.

Toyota and Lexus have an opportunity with cars but they have to do a half a$$ Job with this car. The Ford Focus from look alone blown this Lexus to pieces and it really pathetic that this car has only 134 hp. You're joking right Toyota and Lexus?

I am glad I bought my G37 coupe earlier this years and traded in my Toyota/Lexus. I wish I've done sooner. I love my G37 coupe and will probably NOT going back for another Toyota or Lexus cars or suv. The only cars I like or consider buying from Lexus is the Lexus IS-F and LF-A if I have the money that is.

Why would anyone buy this when they can get the Ford Focus ST which is probably cheaper (not sure) look better, had more horsepower and will outperform this Lexus.

What a shame, it seem like Toyota and Lexus is becoming the GM of Japan. First was their quality and realiability went downhill and now bring out this overprice and underpower Lexus.

Let me guess it was not a Lexus you traded in it was a Toyota. Probably a corolla S. Stay with your Nissan.... It sounds like it suites you.

And people who buy a Lexus should be able to afford gas even if it $3 or $4/gallon.

For a slow hybrid car, it looks too 'strong'.

It looks nice especially with F sport kit. Engine options can always be added later. Example BMW 1 series was also launched as a slow hatchback but later a coupe and 3.0TT engine was added and immediately the model changed from cheap entry level BMW to a pure sportscar from BMW and compared to cars like Porsche Cayman and Nissan Z.
So design is nice and hopefully a new sportier model would be added later.
And Focus wouldn't have same amount of luxury and finesse as Lexus so that is not the competition.

I drive a 2007 BMW 118i 5-Door Hatchbach Automatic and there's nothing slow about it. 0-100 km/h takes place in under 9 seconds and the top speed is 230 km/h. Now tell me what's so "slow" about that?

A 116i is slow, the rest of the lineup is not. The 118d would blow away my 118i in performance.

I hate the horrible color Lexus has selected for promoting the F line. We had Ferrari red, Lambo orange, Porsche yellow and now, there is Lexus fountain-pen-ink-ugly-blue.

notjustlex,

actually it was 2006 Lexus IS350, I have a lot of fun with but let just said I like the G37 coupe better because I feel more connected with the G37. Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti and Honda/Acura all same thing.

I know the Lexus IS350 is quicker from 0-60 but my G37 coupe is so much more fun to drive and the exhaust note is amazing. When it Not raining I drive with my window down just to hear the exhaust note : )

@ Maulvader:

Not exactly a Lexus fan here, but that blue color is a great choice for their F-Line. It has already been positioned as Lexus' own. Let's give credit where it's due

I agree, let's give credit where it's due.

That's the exact same color Mazda had on multiple trims of its Protege line back in the early 2000s. They called it "Laser Blue Mica and" it appeared on the Mazdaspeed Protege, Protege5, and limited-edition Protege MP3. The color is not "Lexus' own."

The CT 200h has been designed as a lightweight and extremely durable. Extensive use of aluminum components to ensure that the Lexus is the lightest, while the top steel passenger cell inherently strong. An innovative LED low-beam headlights are inspired by the L-Finesse design language: eye-catching LED daytime running lights feature arrow Lexus.
