It has been an age old question: "Which car gets the most tickets?" And with good reason, because you do not want to be the guy dishing out tons of greenbacks to the law.

Well, for the first time someone may actually have good insight into this. Thanks to Quality Planning, the guys who supply insurance companies with stats, which in turn will cost/save you bucks in the future.

So, this data holds real value, especially for the insurance company. With that said, here's a look into the data that was collected from the company...

Ok, so which car gets the most tickets? A red Corvette? Jack Baruth’s Phaeton? Any Porsche? Wrong on all counts.

Quality Planning is a company that provides statistics to insurance companies. They relate cars to the people who drive them and especially how those people drive them. Quality Planning’s findings can cost you or save you money in terms of insurance. Ok, none of the above is on top of the list.

The Mercedes SL-Class roadster is not only a babe magnet, it has a fatal attraction to cops. But wait until you hear what the #2 car is...

Interesting if you consider that there are just a few of them on the streets.

This isn't all that surprising...

The Mercedes: Well duh it's a fast sporty car, if you don't drive it fast there's a problem
Toyota Camry Solara: This ones is surprising
Scion TC: From what i've seen at my college it's a very popular young person's car, who tend to drive faster in a sporty car
Hummer: I'm assuming parking tickets, taking up too much of the road while you're supposed to be parked on the curb, that's what happened to my friend all the time

A red Solara attracts a lot of attention. It also looks like it's moving fast at a standstill. Those cops are likely pop up their radar detectors whenever they see one.

I would say the Gran Prix is on the list because of the population of black people driving it.

oh? You're one to talk. Aren't you the one that stated that gay people aren't like electric vehicles in the sense that they are sensitive and care about their environment, but because they are under performing, not masculine, and whisper quiet?

Yes you did :)

I tried to convince you of numerous things. But you continue to put down gay guys as not being able to have masculine attributes, and that being an auto enthusiast is traditionally a masculine past time.

You my friend are a walking hypocrite.

The two most interesting things are the average age of 37 & 40 for the Scion Xb & GTI.

Do you think these cars are the owner's primary vehicle or a commuter?

I have a GTI and almost fell victim to CHP about a month ago. The stars were in my favor, he let me go with just a warning.
