Report: Audi will not produce RS versions of the Q5 and Q7
Although we’d like to see the RS versions of the Audi Q5 and Q7, it appears that the German manufacturer doesn’t intend to create these models in order to compete with cars such as the Bmw X5 & X6 M or the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG. These words came from Stephan Reil, chief of Audi's division known as quattro GmbH. This means that cars such as the Audi Q5 Custom Concept, which previews the RS version of the Q5 crossover will not be produced.

I don't have a problem with that, Q5 will be getting the 3.0SC engine soon. More S & RS cars in the US please....

No big surprise here. They don't have the capacity to produce them or the engineering resources to spare. Besides, the market is so small for these types of cars, the aftermarket tuning houses (such as MTM and others) are much better suited to handle them.
