2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS models sold out
Porsche announced today that all the 500 units of the limited edition 911 GT2 RS were sold. As you may know already, the limited edition model was introduced back in August at the 2010 Moscow Auto Salon as one of the most powerful vehicles in its lineup. Comparing it to the standard 911 GT2, the new car received a power boost of 90 hp and but it is also lighter than the standard model with 70 kilograms or 154 lb.

As expected, it carries a 3.6 litre six-cylinder boxer engine delivering a total output of 620 hp (a power-to-weight ratio of just 4.9 lbs (2.21 kg) per horsepower).

I'm shocked it took this long. Porsche has a huge fan base, and only 500 units should sell far quicker than that.

yes, but Porsche has too many limited editions... still, the GT2 RS was way too expensive..

Doesn't do anything for me. Decent car though.

It's a gorgeous looking car, based on the photo on this page.

Hey, I just thought of something: Of the women I have informally surveyed, none are impressed by Porsches. (Similarly, chicks dig Harleys and not BMW boxer motorcycles). Do your own asking, and see if you also observe this tendency. This means that Porsche guys are attracting the admiring glances of other *guys*. Doesn't this make a Porsche a gay car? ;-)

No, it just means that type of women that are attracted to Porsches are not the type of women you come into contact with or the women you asked were lying.

You should ask those same women:

Is security something you value highly?
Do you believe that the more money you posses or earn makes you more secure?
Do you find security attractive?
What do think about people whom drive Porsches?

This car isnt expensive. It's limited plus its a good car already and brand wise its an exotic. The LFA is expensive and its slower. Don't tell me the Lexus is worth it because of its sound. people who buy Porches aren't money strapped.
