Vw may sell a record 7 million vehicles worldwide this year, report says
According to the latest reports, it appears that Volkswagen may sell a record 7 million vehicles worldwide this year, and finally reduce the sales gap with Toyota to just over 1 million units, from 1.5 million last year.

Volkswagen’s sales improved by 12.7 percent to a record 5.4 million cars, SUVs and light commercial vans in the first nine months of 2010, which means that the German manufacturer is on track to become world’s largest car manufacturer. Volkswagen’s sales in Europe rose 1.1 percent to 2.5 million, while in China sales improved by 39 percent to nearly 1.5 million.
