According to the latest reports from Autocar, it appears that Mercedes-Benz will shake up the small car segment when it will launch the revamped B-Class, as the new car is based on ground-breaking new technology.

Furthermore, according to the head of development for the A and B-class and Smart families, Jorg Prigl, the new MFA (Mercedes Front-drive Architecture) platform which will be used by the forthcoming car is so advanced that it could be the subject of a patent. The new platform also has room to fit a battery pack, fuel cell stack or even hydrogen & CNG tanks.

agreed. seems MB has lost its ability to create distinctive, timeless designs with a consistent brand identity. they're trying too hard

I think its the color and the angle of this shot. The front end is the only thing "over-styled" imo. Idk for sure though, you may be right.
