AWESOME or AWFUL? Maserati Unleashes Quattroporte With MC Sport Line Gear
If you thought the MC Sport Line would only feature the Maserati Gran Turismo, you were wrong. That's because at the Austrailian International Auto Show was the debut for the Quattroporte version.

Why in Syndey? I have no idea. I could understand in Beijing or at one of the other big-name shows but Austrailia? What's up with that?

Anyway, is this a viable option for anyone considering a Mercedes-Benz E63, Cadillac CTS-V or the like? You know, some crazy horsepower four-door sedan.

Maserati has shown the Quattroporte Sport GT S with the MC Sport Line package at this year Australian International Auto Show in Syndey. The Quattroporte Sport GT S got a proper MC Sport Line option treatment.

The MC Sport Line equipment package is developed from the experience of Maserati Corse – Maserati factory-owned racing department – and Maserati winning motorsport programmes, both with the Maserati MC12 and the GranTurismo MC in its Trofeo and GT4 versions...

Okay, that is understandable. Most upscale automotive companies try or attempt to satisfy the speed freaks in this category. I guess its only the right thing to do if you want to maintain that particular market share.

The basic car in unattractive. But this car either at idle, part throttle or full chat leaves no doubt where this car hails from. So much better sounding than it looks.
