Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800: the fastest luxury sedan in the world
Brabus revealed today the SV12 R Biturbo 800 a.k.a. world’s most powerful luxury sedan, with 800 hp and a top speed electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph). Based on the Mercedes-Benz S 600, the new car uses the V12 engine that normally powers the standard car, with an increased displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.). Furthermore, the car uses a custom air intake to fit in the available space under the hood of the S-Class, a new Brabus Biturbo system with two special high-performance manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers, four water intercoolers and a new stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and four exhaust tips. The result: an impressive 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), available from a low 2,100 rpm.

I am a torque guy and I love the torque on this car and on the regular AMG models.

I know the S65 is electronically limited to 1,000nm. I think they did that because of the stress it would put on the transmission. I found it interesting Braubus opted to take the stock S600 and put its own turbos on as opposed to removing the limiter on the S65. I wonder what that engine would be capable of if it had a better tranny.

That being said, this thing is a beast. :-)

(Hmmm. I wonder: what level of armor does this thing have?)

i would say the same level as the standard neck brace that "SHOULD" come with this car when you pop your neck when flooring it to WOT....
