Toyota Prius MPV: first photo revealed
This is the new Toyota Prius MPV, a new version of the popular hybrid car from the Japanese manufacturer, which will be revealed to the world in January, at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Although there are no details, the vehicle might receive the same technology found on the Prius, which means that we will find the 1.8-liter VVT-i Atkinson cycle petrol engine, found also on the recently introduced 2011 Lexus CT 200h.

This car could potentially replace two Toyota models. Previa and Innova.
Also a good opportunity to introduce popular Prius nameplate to new markets like Middle East...etc

Same power with additional size and weight? Ugh.

Hopefully the Lexus version of this car has a power boost.

That's kinda like the old Type R Civic... way to backtrack designs. Some Toyotas in Japan have radical designs; they might be funky, but does that mean Toyota has to back track whenever it comes to the US market?!
