Toyota’s global vehicle production dropped in September, for the first time in 12 months

As the output fell in the markets of North America, Europe and Japan, Toyota Motor Corp.’s global vehicle production dropped in September -- the first time in 12 months.

In a statement, Toyota said that global vehicle output decreased by1.3% to 672,604 units last September. Toyota had posted a 16% drop in its output in the US as well as a 30% decline in Europe. The carmaker also disclosed that Toyota's exports from Japan decreased by 11% to 148,836 vehicles in Septembe
