In a related story, Ford admits that the job totals will continue to rise once it now figures out how to DESIGN, BUILD, and MARKET cars to compete in the global marketplace it has ignored for decades. One Ford exec exclaims "...better late than never."

That's almost 71k a year for 1200 people. Not too shabby.

I'm just happy Ford is now turning profit and bringing cars to the U.S. like they should have years ago. Europe was racing Mondeo's around the track and we got a Contour SVT that was never hyped or kept in the lineup. Now bring us our Fiesta, Focus, Ka SVT models and don't forget the redesigned Fusion (Mondeo) and the sexy upcoming Escape (Kuga). Oh and dab on a little diesel while your at it.

cite your sources please. I call bs. It isn't on the main wikipedia article for the duratec engine, but it is in the article for the mondeo engine w/o any cited source. Everything I can find on the internet is citing that uncited source.

my source was that nice big duratec logo in the mazda 6. I cited my source.

I am not the one who used wiki, I said you can't use it since as you said you could post that god designed it. Although... getting anything added/changed to wikipedia these days is a fairly intense process and that change wouldn't actually happen.

Still waiting for your source...
