Subaru introduces sporty Forester STI Ts
Subaru unveiled the 2011 Forester STI Ts, a special edition of its popular crossover which will be manufactured in a limited edition of just 300 units. Built only for the Japanese market, the new car is based on the Forester S-Edition and features new STI high-performance parts such as a new modified suspensions which lowers the vehicle by 15 mm.

Furthermore, the car features new front and rear bumpers, a modified front grille, revamped side sills, a new rear roof spoiler, a rear air diffuser with integrated exhaust system. The design is completed by the new set of 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Very nice but the price ($42,500)falls right into RX/X3/GLK territory.

For Subaru, the pinnacle was 2005 IMO. STI powered manual Forester XTs & manual 2.5 Legacy GT wagons. Total niche vehicles.

Bring the 5/at and the 265+ hp motor to the U.S. XT model and you will have an instant winner. Anything less is a deal breaker. I used to recommend the shit out of Subaru, but now days their complete line-up features no compelling offering.
