VIDEO: 84-Year-Old Woman On Wrong Side Of The Road!
This is just one of those things that you have to see to believe.

According to CBS, an 84-year-old woman from Delaware was driving on Interstate 95. Sounds pretty mundane, right? Problem was, she was on the wrong side of the road.

Even more remarkable is that someone was able to capture the whole event on camera. Gotta love technology.

DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. (CBS)
Pennsylvania State Police questioned an 84-year-old female from Wilmington in connection with a wrong-way driving incident on I-95 Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses say she was travelling east in the westbound lanes of Route 322, and then she got on the southbound lanes of I-95 travelling northbound, causing a number of crashes along the way.

Amazingly, there is video of the incident...

Over a short period, we began to see dents and scrapes on all four corners of my 86 y.o. mother-in-law's car. We told her it was time to give up her car - she told us we were trying to steal her freedom. So instead, I stole her car keys and car title, put an ad in Craiglist, sold the car dirt cheap and got rid of it fast. Then we told her the car had been stolen. Scary part - she didn't even remember that we had originally tried to take away her keys. Elderly need to be tested and family members need to step up if elderly should not be driving.

"...she was travelling east in the westbound lanes of Route 322."

Well, in her defense, that road was eastbound around the turn of the century....the 12th & 13th century! So she is correct. And before you Google, I just made that up.

As long as the elderly vote in the numbers they have historically, and with the lobbying power of AARP, this issue will never garner the National discussion that it so truly deserves.
