AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: We get an early look at the 2006 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

The Hyundai Azera is the top rated car overall... Yes, rated even higher than Lexus LS430 and Jaguar XJ.

The top rated truck and top rated vehicle overall is the Lincoln Navigator.

As an aside not included in the releases attached, SUVs, overall, have higher VSA scores than cars, pickups and minivans. While the criticism of SUVs continues, people who are buying them are still very happy with their purchase - even at $3.00 per gallon gasoline.

That was so funny Will. Maybe I should give you the number of my SA, so he can tell you exactly how often he sees me. If they didn't offer free oil changes he wouldn't even know me.

Lets not make wild conclusions from the survey. Granted the CTS is nice and its no surprise since the buddies that I know bought CTS and never complained. Then again someone that spends much more money on a car (MB) will bitch more or be more critical.

Too bad somebody actually did a survey on this. MB owners on average are smarter than owners of any other brand.

Ill add that Mercedes has been in my family for the past 30 years. Lately the brand has gone down in quality and customer satisfaction and the japanese are doing what they do best, capitalize on their competitors mistakes. Having said that, it is true Mercs give you that sense on exclusivity and a felling of ive made it to the top. But the premium i pay for any car must definetly buy me peace of mind as far as quality goes and Mercs have done a poor job at that lately. <br><br><br><br>
Lexus has yet to achieve that sense exclusivity but i think they wont get there since to be exclusive they have to raise their sticker price abput 30% across the model line up and that is just what they are not about. They make highly reliable, innovative and very reasonably priced vehicles that are luxurious and very comfortable. Today that makes a lot of sense considering that automobiles are the worse investment anyone can make.
