2010 SEMA AUTO SHOW EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: Lexus Comes Heavily Armed

2010 SEMA AUTO SHOW EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: Lexus Comes Heavily Armed
It looks like Hyundai isn't the only manufacturer breaking out the big guns because Lexus appears to be heavily armed. As we can see from 001's exclusive photos, essentially Lexus decided to get all .50 caliber on us here.

Some highlights from the photographs:

From what 00R can see, it appears that 0-60 Magazine did some work on a Lexus GS. And, it is an impressive build from the lime green big brake kit to the racecar-spec interior. You know what that means, a totally stripped inside with two racing seats and alcantara wrapping just about everything. Hm, those lime green brakes look familiar -- follow the link if you don't remember the 0-60 Lexus IS-F.

Another highlight is the CT200h, which 00R had the chance to exclusively drive, looks like it is wearing the F-Sport modifications straight from the factory. Note its more aggressive stance, wheels and blue brake kit. Something tells me there is more to this particular CT200h, we just can't see the rest of the mods.

Now, 00R has just realized something. From the crop of photos that 001 has posted it appears that Lexus has brought all hybrid vehicles. Does that makes Lexus the first automaker to do so? Being that 00R is a betting man tonight, he is willing to wager that Lexus is the first brand to do so, making Lexus pretty forward-thinking.

What's up with the white GS. The front bumper and rear spoiler are ridiculous. Don't like any of the modifications.

i bet they are there for a reason. i think that car may be slightly on the fast side therefore needing the added downforce. if you noticed, the interior is completely designed for racing. just my .02

It's a race-spec GS. Its function over form.

That Lexus LS600 hl would look really good and hot if it were Black, Sapphire blue, White or Starfire white but they have to mess it up with this brownish color.

I actually like the first Lexus which is the LS. The rest seems like extreme after thoughts.

Lexus really need to have an official tuning arm per AMG/M instead of having these aftermarket guys hack their cars to grotesque shapes. Their "F" cars really does nothing for me visually, one wonders if Toyota is too conservative to make anything exciting anymore...

SEMA is a friggin' joke - nothing but big wheels, big wings, and stupid paint. The LA Auto Show can't come soon enough.
