Bmw, MINI making changes in their U.S. marketing departments
The marketing departments of BMW of North America and Mini USA are making a few personnel changes. Starting Dec. 1, Tom Salkowsky, aged 40 and is currently manager of corporate communications for BMW, will become manager of Mini marketing. Salkowsky replaces Trudy Hardy, aged 41, who will serve as manager of BMW marketing communications. Hardy is the replacement for Patrick McKenna, aged 41, who will be the head of Mini’s product strategy and motor experiences department.

Is this in any way significant to someone outside of BMW? How will the lives of us regular consumers be altered by this? I don't intend this as a slam, but rather as "what does this mean to me?"

think it is appropriate auto news, but may have no rapid impact on consumers but will likely change the course of the BMW/MINI brands future with new blood at the reigns
