Kia’s design boss wants a new sports car to lend more appeal to the brand
According to the latest reports, it appears that Peter Schreyer, Kia's chief design officer, is currently working on a new sports car, in order to lend more appeal to the brand. Same Peter Schreyer said that the car is not officially in the pipeline, because the Korean manufacturer needs to get on more solid footing. Kia already boosted its image with new cars such as Soul hatchback and the redesigned Sportage crossover, as well as the Optima sedan.

That is fine, create a new sports car. Just dont create a light mint green Scion tC. I'd rather see them make their version of the Genesis Coupe or the next Tiburon.

Really? I don't see the Kee's A pillars that is on the Scion FT-86, Suzki Swift, 2012 Ford Explorer, Saab 9-4X, Mini Cooper, Land Rover or the Hyundai Veloster. And speaking of copying the 2010 Ford Taurus' face copied the 1999 Nissan Altima's so what's your point?
