VIDEO: Chris Harris Takes The BMW 1M For A Spin, Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN?
Usually speaking, when Chris Harris has something to say about a performance vehicle, you don't take it too lightly. Although one user claims Harris has no idea how to drive a manual, I am pretty sure he knows damn well how to drive it. Maybe because he has piloted many of today's elite vehicles.

So, if you haven't heard about BMW's 1M over the past several months, then strap yourself in for a test ride alongside Harris. Yes, it is a poorly shot video with audio that gets about nothing of what Harris is on about when he's driving, but it is worth something. That's because we get to see some nice shots of another 1M mule's interior and we get to hear more of the car in action.

Also, we want to know if you agree or disagree with Harris' opinions on what an M car should be like and how it should feel. Is he forgetting something or is he spot on?

The Spies want to know...

It reminds me of the E46 M3 CSL with those wheels. I think it looks good. I just hope they don't saturate all their models with M badges like Mercedes did with AMG on models like the R-Class which is one of the most useless vehicles IMO. If I want a MINI VAN I will go get a Toyota Sienna or something. IF i want luxury I'll go get an ML or GL class thank you very much.

They already have. In the UK you can get an 'M Sport' varient of pretty much every model in the range. Not that this is a particularly bad thing...every BMW looks better with an M body kit!

To me, the 1 series' face evokes a "baby" emotion, with the disproportionately large eyes, and the stubby infantile bofy proportions. Cute, for sure, but not something for me. Even if it goes like stink.

(Typo: "bofy" -> "body" -- I wish there was an "edit" function in Autospies!)
