GM working not on one, but two new city cars
Although we knew that General Motors is working on a new small car, believed to be a production version of the Trixx Concept, it appears that the American manufacturer is working not on one, but two new small cars that will join the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa by the middle of this decade.

According to Autocar, the new premium hatch will also be joined by a budget-priced city car, which will use a new different platform. Both of the cars are currently being developed and engineered in Korea, according to GM DAT boss Mike Arcamone.

"Same Arcamone also said that the new car that will take on Bmw’s MINI, was almost completely developed in Asia, still, the German engineers helped on its development"

Say it with me: GM does not have the confidence in it's own design department to style a car that will appeal to consumers, neither locally in the United States or to global consumer, that will generate demand to sell the model.

Also say it with me: Outsourced design is cheaper, so when the model fails, we won't loose as much money when we outsource the design to another non-US team!
