Ford CEO Allan Mulally says that Lincoln will rebuild its entire lineup
As you may know already, Ford has big plans with its Lincoln brand, and it already announced when the Mercury brand was phased out, that it will focus more on the luxury brand.

According to Ford CEO Allan Mulally, the Lincoln plan will include three pieces. First of all, the Lincoln brand needs to have dynamite luxury vehicles. The second piece is a new dealership network, placed in the right places, especially where the luxury customers are in the United States.

Have you actually sat in ANY Lincoln recently?

yes I actually went to a dealer and sat inthem cause my friend wants to buy the new navigator and licolns are str8 TRASH in my book and NOOOO i am not bias towards anything I love almost all cars....I think the new ford lineup looks waybetter than the licolns. Lincolns dont hold any weight to Lexus,BMW,Mercedes,Audi,Acura...and even the Jaguar brand is looking real bland look at the XF when it came out 2 years ago just look at the interior if that doesnt spell bland "ASS" FORD i dont know what does. I dont like ANY of the Licoln cars I seen on the lot all their new stuff is just bland and worthles IMO.....But im just 1 person other people may like it but that doesnt concern me.

But to the same point wasn't Lexus rebadged Toyotas at one point?

I'll believe it when I see it!

Maybe an updated XR4-Ti will make a return as a Lincoln.

Allan don't forget my hot rod Lincoln !!!!

For the naysayers...This guy knows how to build a brand. The Mustang
and Ford lineups are looking better and better. Give him five years on
the Lincoln and then make your judgements.

A lot of potential for the Lincoln brand. Start with a full sized, rear wheel drive sedan with a long wheelbase option for the Chinese market and call it the Continental. Make it handle like an S-class and you're in business. Next is a smaller mid-size sedan (with a name and not alphanumeric)to compete with the likes of Camry and Accord. Next are a full size SUV and a Midsized SUV. And take it from there. This should be easy since Ford has all these vehicles currently or in the works.

"...Lincoln will rebuild its entire lineup"

Because the last lineup didn't quite work out so well. But we HAVE made GREAT strides in the car building business. We NOW know, for example, how to make the vehicles go with the push of the gas pedal.

Yipeeeeee ...now to conquer the world!!

"...a new dealership network, placed in the right places, especially where the luxury customers are in the United States."

Those rascally luxury customers have been hiding from us all this time spending good money on low rent "cheap" imports like Audi, MB, BMW. But we know where they are now!!!!
