Jaeger-LeCoultre launches the watch that can open your Aston Martin's doors

Jaeger-LeCoultre, the official watch partner of Aston Martin Racing, is launching a new timepiece – the AMVOX2 DB9 Transponder. Owners of DB9 models could pretend that they’re James Bond as they open the doors of the vehicle by pressing on the sapphire crystal of their watch.

According to the press release, the AMVOX2 DB9 Transponder is encased in grade five titanium and its black dial is adorned with a grille-type motif and features rhodium-plated metallic numerals coated in the center with a luminescent black substance.

This is nothing new technology-wise.
Lexus already had a watch in Japan that acted as SmartKey for LS back in 2004.
