Audi owns Lamborghini. VW owns Bently.

Although it sits under the VW umbrella, Audi is actually seprarately run and has its own technology division. All Audi corporate decisions are made independant of VW.

Most Audi cars are also manufactured in exclusive Audi designed and operated factories that do not make VW content. These models include th A4, A6, A8, and forthcoming TT.
