This past week, we ran a story about the 2011 Audi R8 Spyder. Given how much interest there has been over the regular R8 coupe, if you can even call it "regular," I asked if the Spyder was the best version yet.
But that wasn't the key takeaway. The fun bit was the actually story that Scott Burgess penned about his experience with the
2011 R8 Spyder
in New Jersey, his home state and how he got nailed by a copper on the Turnpike.
Being filled with Jersey pride, I knew exactly the area Burgess got nailed, which is a great area to break the sound barrier. This got the Spies thinking...

The mountain roads of southern Andalucia, Spain in the R8 Cabrio pictured above.
I'm sure there are better, faster cars... but few would be as comfortable for the trip or look as good in the pictures you take while parked on the side of the road overlooking the Mediterranean.
