Give It Your Best Shot! Agent001 Spies A Mystery Car, But What Is It?
Every once in a while we get stumped.
Agent001 just sent me these shots from somewhere in Southern California of this strange looking car undergoing testing. Long time reader
Fred Khaz spotted this and snapped a few shot and passed it on.
We looked over the rather distant shots and can't figure out what it could be. So in return I am passing on these to you asking the best and brightest out there to help us nail down what it could be.
Give it your best shot!

The 3rd pic and the last one gives the most information. Nothing from GM, VW, or Ford. Hyundai's new designs are much more angular than this. Honestly it is likely a Euro car based on the design. I am stumped.

I think it is a BMW. I am only guessing it based on the last picture's side blinkers. The rest of the car does not match any BMW designs though.

Uh no. This is aimed toward economy, not sport. The shape/stance is way off.

I can tell you're in a Porsche.
I think the test mule is Korean in origin. The rims have a older Hyundai/Kia feel to them, while the A-pillar screams Mazda for some reason.

It has the Hyundai/Kia factory rims so I'm gonna agree with you considering it doesn't have the Hyundai fluidic sculpture design...so that just leaves Kia.

Toyota Yaris. . . I think the turn signal on the fender is the same as the current gen. Too small to be Prius MPV. . . but I could be wrong

I'm going with the Prius MPV - Toyota looking wheel wells and wheel covers, tall rear end, high third tailight giving away where the rear starts to slope down, zipper in the black fabric on the rear showing approximately where the rear hatch opens.

009 if you think it's ugly, then it's a BMW. If you think it's beautiful, then it's a Toyota or Lexus :-)

Not a BMW as all BMW's use projector style lamps. Not a VW, Mazda, Ford, etc. Not a Prius MPV as the Prius utilizes LED taillamps for energy savings.
I'd go with a Fiat tester.

I always drive my car with these stone protectors on it. Geeeezeee did not know it would cause such a fuss here or I would have posted pictures of it sooner. You should see my Ferrari with the stone protector blankets.

4 lug wheels eliminates VW or Audi. Maybe a Toyota of some sort.
