Official: Gran Turismo 5 confirmed for November 24th

After the long delay, Gran Turismo 5 will finally be released for the North American markets on November 24, according to the head of the public relations at the U.S. Playstation blog. This on-sale date was confirmed by Kazunori Yamauchi, President of Polyphony Digital. Yamauchi explained that there was a long wait because the creators wanted to “meet or even exceed the anticipation of the fans.”

The President said that Gran Turismo 5 is an ambitious endeavor and is filled with “challenges and complexities.” Yamauchi even went as far as to compare the Gran Turismo 5 to the Apollo Space Program.

Outside of music and movies, GT5 Prologue is pretty much the only game I play. I'll definitely be calling out of work and ignoring my woman for a few days when this comes out.

Me too lol. I have Maybe 5 games and Drakes Uncharted is about the only one I really played. 360 is where its at! I have a modded 360 and burn my own games. I sell them $10 lol. $65 for a video game is way too much. I actually had already beaten COD black ops a week before it came out in stores. I usually get games 1-2 weeks before they come out. Its the best.
