Is The 2013 3-Series The Best Looking BMW Yet?

Is The 2013 3-Series The Best Looking BMW Yet?

BMW is preparing a raft of new technology that will enable its future models to react "intelligently" with local road conditions to allow greater fuel-efficiency and improve safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

This new philosophy is described by BMW as "Connected Drive meets Efficient Dynamics." The German car manufacturer expects to roll out the technology over the next few years in the new 2013 BMW 3 Series and 2012 6 Series.

Connected Drive is defined by BMW engineers as "info coming into the vehicle" and "info from the vehicle" being combined to make decisions about the way the car operates.

even though this is a rendition it looks sweet for 2013...this has the aggressiveness, the sharp lines, bulging fenders. the kidney's look a little big but the overall look of it looks pretty tough. This is an old picture ive seen it before but it is a better looking 3 series i cant say the nicest until i see the real deal

I think that looks great, and I'd love it if the car looked like that, but I've seen that rendering before and if I remember correctly it didn't come from anyone associated with BMW. So there's not much point in debating whether it's "the best looking new BMW", since the real car might look nothing like that. It's the best "this is what the car could look like" rendering I've seen, I guess.

I doub it will look like this. All of BMW's design recently have been extremely conservative. This would make a great M3

To much Mazda-ish smile.... lose that and it would look great.

Don't like the front end. Also the crease line is too high and thick. Maybe if Bangle was still there at BMW this could have been close to real thing but doubt it now.

The article title has nothing to do with the actual article, and since that is just a rendering, I'm not sure why you're even asking that question.

3-Series = Ultimate Chick Car

Sorry buddy, but the ultimate chick car is either a VW: Cabriolet, Jetta or Passat, MB C-Class or BMW 3-Series convertible. I would say something about another marque, but we know how that goes.

Somebody better tell them to add a triangle to the front end--I don't think they missed any other geometric shapes.

The front looks fine, but not nearly as good as the rest of the car(even though it may be photoshopped).

For all of your worried about the "propeller", don't! BMW knows that the 3-Series is there money maker, so they'll make sure it works for all of your Bavarian conservatives.

IMO, I think the best looking BMW yet is the E39 5er. This doesn't even make the top 10!
