LA AUTO SHOW: Up Close And Intimate With The First Live Pictures Of The New Audi A7

Every once in a while a revolutionary vehicle comes on to the scene.  A car that has presence and class, you know the one that every one wants to have but very few ever will own.

Agent001 zeroed on just such a vehicle with the all new Audi A7.  Take a look at the profile, and the interior and tell us if this is the one for Audi to finally break in the luxury car market with real appeal.

The interior looks alright, but the lack of leather on the doors and dash sort of... well, it still gives the A8 the right to sit on top. I guess that's a good thing.

I like the design and proportions of this car much better than the BMW 5GT. This is a great looking car!

that's a no brainer, I've seen a few 5GT on the road lately and I think of those football helmet golf carts they use at games or Rick Moranis's helmet in Spaceballs...

Pretty nice looker, all things considered. To *my* eyes, it's much more attractive than station wagons or cross-overs.

On the down-side, I noticed various control icons that would need a read of the user manual to understand what they mean. Is that any better than a discriptive word? Oh well.

I don't like the way it look because the front headlights look similar to the current Audi A4. The back remind of of the current Maserati Gran Turismo and the side it look like a Squash BMW X6. But I love the interior, it look really good.

That grill looks bad, its way to big. This car is in no way a segment leader from the reviews I have read. Which is to bad considering the A6 will be similar.

This gets my vote for the most boring design of the year. The seats look bloated for some reason, and the black finish on the dash looks very cheap.

It already looks old just like the rest of the Audi lineup. The only design from Audi that still makes me look twice is their truck lineup. Other than that they are everywhere and all look the same.

It's much better than the 5GT, that's for sure. But nobody does hatchback sedan better than Citroen and I still maintain this even with this A7.

All cars look good at Autoshows. In the sunshine A7 doesn't look very good but i haven't see it so far so maybe it will impress. One thing is for sure it looks better than BMW 5 GT.

The side view of this is better then a Panamera. The front end of a Panamera,however to me, looks nicer then this enormous grill. I really thing Audi needs to tone it down a little or change it's shape slightly.

Compared to a 5GT this thing is nice, exterior wise anyway, but compared to other 4 door coupe esque vehicles this A7 is just plain and bland beyond understated. Its exterior looks like a 5 door hatch version of A4 with a slightly different face, and its interior is border line boring......should a car in this price range and class really have that many plastic surfaces....looks like cost cutting..and more of the same boring styling
