VW Chief Confirms Microbus is Back On

Back in 2001 VW excited fans with the unveiling of the Microbus concept at the Detroit Auto Show
. It was supposed to be produced, but it never happened. Now according to Auto Express, plans are back on to bring the Microbus concept to life.

They need to make this, I don't know what the hell they were thinking using a re-badged caravan/town and country as their minivan with those outdated coarse engines and horrifically cheap interior which obviously doesn't match up to the other VW products. If they put the 290hp VR6 in the van with the DSG and strip the Chrysler interior out and put and all VW done interior, it might be more appealing.
