NHTSA opens investigation on 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid vehicles
According to the latest reports from Automotive News, it appears that National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation in order to find out if some Honda hybrid vehicles are subject to unintended acceleration.

The federal regulators agreed to look into a complaint which ended with a fatal crash back in July 2005. According to the report, a woman driving a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid said that when trying to use the breaks, the car sped up and couldn’t be controlled. As a result, she crossed into oncoming traffic.
