SPY PHOTO: VW getting closer to releasing their answer to the BMW X3-Front

Volkswagen is getting on with the development of the new 4x4 Golf model, based on the Golf Plus under the code-name Marrakesh. Beneath the skin, the new SUV features a re-engineered version of the Golf's 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. It will be equipped with transversely mounted engines delivering between 105 and 250 HP.

I think it will look fine in the end. The Spies did get a little excited and compared everything to the X3. The CRV and the Rav-4 are the competitors for the Nissan small ute. The Audi is the closest competition to the X3. The VW one slots somewhere in between, mostly competes with the Toyota and the Honda one, but also a little with the BMW.
