Toyota global vehicle production fell for a second consecutive month

Because of the drop in the output in North America, Europe and Japan, Toyota Motor Corp.’s global vehicle production fell for a second straight month in October. Last month, Toyota built 613,169 units, lower by 14% compared to a year ago. In a statement, Toyota disclosed that in October, its exports from Japan dropped by 8% to 143,499 vehicles, while production was cut by 7% outside Japan and 22% in its home market.
