Hyundai Inventory Levels Plunge Making It Hard To Back Up Stellar November
Hyundai posted a 45 percent gain in November sales to 40,723 -- its best November ever -- but its product chief says scant inventories of key models could create customer satisfaction problems.

Mike O’Brien, Hyundai’s vice president of product and corporate planning, told Automotive News that the brand has less than a 20-day supply of the Hyundai Sonata, Tucson and Santa Fe -- three of the brand’s best selling-vehicles.

Indeed. At the present rate of how fast Hyundai has been releasing their latest models, with demand surging, I wouldn't be surprised to see average transaction prices rise.

Why use a 3 year old rendering image that's not even accurate.

If you think inventory levels are low now...Just wait until North Korea starts shelling Seoul

That's true but compared to year over year sales around the same time last year, they have doubled the number of units sold.

Clearly, they are growing market share.

I'm laughing to myself as the UAW fights for more money and pension and healthcare on my dime (taxes roll down hill), the workers at Hyundai plants in the U.S. are enjoying double overtime on a non-unionized schedule to keep up with demand.

Fleet sales or not, it shows that the cars have value if they are being bought up. I really think Hyundai could care less who they sell them too, as long as they are selling well. Cash in the pocket.
