RAV4 Electric to reach dealerships in 2012, Atlantic Toyota dealer says
The electric version of the RAV4 that Toyota and Tesla Motors are jointly developing will be available starting 2012, according to Tmcnet that quoted auto dealer Atlantic Toyota. The RAV4 Electric was showcased for the first time at the recently held Los Angeles Auto Show. In mid-October, Toyota confirmed that it will pay $60 million to Tesla Motors to develop the project.
