VIDEO: The 2012 Audi A6 Gets Seen In Motion
Although we have been able to show you tons of pictures of the 2012 Audi A6 sedan, we've got something a little bit more interactive now.
Thanks to our friends at Carscoop, we've got some video of the all-new A6 in action.
**Make sure to scope them out down below...
When Audi released the first pictures of the 2012 Audi A6
sedan, many readers found the design somewhat bland. The new model is definitely an evolution and not a revolution, sharing many design cues with the A4
, A7 Sportback
and the flagship A8
. I must admit though that, after seeing the car in video, my opinion on the styling has nudged a little towards the positive side. Of course taste is subjective, so tell us what you think in the comments section after the jump...

Isn't this like the 4th or 5th post in 3 days on the A6?
The video is OK, but the rear trunk/rear light overhang looks reeeeally
awkward.
I'll reserve judgement until I see it for myself but I am looking forward to this more than any other A6 I've ever seen except for possibly the 03' RS6....

looks way to much like any other Audi looks somewhat dated already Hyundai is making the same mistake.

Im not sure what all the excitement is abou this car it looks like the current A6 got a new front, rear end, and interior, otherwise it looks identical to the outgoing model.

I like this car. Sure, the design evolution is rather conservative but the car still looks elegant and sporty and has that typical futuristic Audi feel to it. I am not bothered by the fact that there's a growing family resemblance within the Audi lineup. I like it and I suspect their customers like the conservative styling direction that Audi is taking.

Having a similar design language throughout the model lineup is one thing, but there seems to be little visual difference between the A6 and the A4. With all the other outstanding competitors in the mid-size luxury/sport sedan category this is a lackluster effort at best from Audi.

Its not perfect, but I like the simple reserved styling. In my opinion it has a more classy look than cars that are over styled. The trunk overhang however is really weird and kinda ruins the high class look.
I give it a 7 out of 10.
