EXCLUSIVE: 001 Spies Mystery Mercedes SUV Testing Today In SoCal!

EXCLUSIVE: 001 Spies Mystery Mercedes SUV Testing Today In SoCal!
As I've said many times before I'm a big believer that God loves Auto Spies because being in the right place at the right time as many times as the Agents are cannot be just coincidence.

Take today for example.

I was supposed to leave for Newport Beach around 8:30am this morning and I'm usually up and ready by then.

But for some reason today, I just couldn't get out of bed and going until around 10:30AM.

It turns out my angel was looking out for me by sprinkling a little extra sleeping dust in my eyes because as I headed up north from San Diego, low and behold a big fat Christmas present came driving right along side of me.

And just like in Animal House when the Playboy Bunny came flying in the window onto the boys bed, the first words I thought of were- THANK YOU GOD!

So as always, this spy had his camera armed and ready and got these great shots for the AutoSpies.com faithful.

As I looked at it, I first thought it was the next GL but the more I examined the body, I was thinking it could be a bigger next-gen ML OR if the rear third was a fake roof maybe even a BMW X6 competitor.

What say you Spies?

Did 001 say "OR if the rear third was a fake roof maybe even a BMW X6 competitor." ?

How the hell can it be an X6 competitor with rear doors that are that tall ?

You people never apply common sense when thinking about these vehicles.

Then Again, you might just be deliberately baiting short tempered members like myself.

Looks like the next generation ML...could even be the MLK they've been supposedly talking about for years now

MLK? Didn't that become what we now call the GLK-Class?

Looks quite wide and bigger than current model. Hope it doesn't have the same design theme as boxy GLK.
