Toyota Cutting Sales Goals For 2011 After Sluggish 2010
Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) has lowered its internal global production plans by around 200,000 units to 7.8 million vehicles for 2011 amid a sluggish recovery in U.S. sales, the Asahi daily reported on Sunday.
The Asahi Shimbun, without citing its sources, said the new production plan was revised down from August and would mean Toyota's global production would fall short of 8 million units for the third straight year.

Quoting from the article "Toyota's
global production would fall short of 8 million units for the third straight year." Seems to me like Toyota accomplished all their goals of beating GM (highest sales), then becoming like GM (recalls, crap quality).
Now they are in a downward spiral. Again, like GM. If it looks like a duck....The Gods of GM must be smiling now.
