2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302S: official details, photos and specs

Ford has finally given in to requests to provide more details about the Mustang Boss 302S that it introduced earlier this month. This limited production vehicle is positioned between the Boss 302 Laguna Seca and the Boss 302R Grand-Am racer. This is the third motorsport vehicle in Ford’s history to be built at a Ford production site and be offered through Ford’s dealer network. The vehicle used the street legal 2012 Boss 302 as a starting point.

$80,000?? That is a a lot of money for this Ford Mustang Boss 302S. I think I would rather get a BMW M3, Audi RS5, MB C-Class C63 AMG or a Lexus IS-F instead. That is a lot of money but I guess there is enough followers to have a market for this car.

Those are all luxury cars you listed, this mustank competes in an entirely different class. None of those cars have roll cages, or GPS data acquisition systems or 6 point quick release safety belts. This wouldn't be much of a daily driver.

love this car, but i have to agree, 80k is too much for this car, i think i would rather have a NISSAN GTR..
