I just know that only Porsche can engineer an SUV that deserves a badge that represents sportscars for all sorts of terrain.

Oh come on, people. Give Audi etc. a break.

Audi engineers can engineer it - and Porsche engineers can re-engineer it for their company's purposes. Big deal.

Absolutely right Willis. Audi had design input on the Lamborghini Gallardo and designed the Audi R8 with performance AWD. They certanly can engineer and design SUV's for any of VAG companies. The Lamborghini V8 is an Audi designed engine as is the Lamborghini V10. The V10 is essentially 2 joined inline 5 cylinder engines mated together and specially tuned for Lamborghini and now the R8. Audi is very capable. There will be no problem.

Correction-I ment to say the Lamborghini V10 is an Audi engineered designed engine for Lamborghini. The V8 is currently only used for Audi products at the moment. This may also be the turbo V8 that maybe offered for Bentley in turbo form.

Big deal engineers move from company to company quite frequently.
