Lesson Learned: A Ferrari AND Snow Is Probably NOT A Good Idea

When you think of cars that are meant for the snow, images of an Audi or Subaru are probably what sprout to mind. Perhaps you can't get the idea of an sport-utility churning up the white stuff out of your mind.

But something tells us you don't think "Man, a Ferrari F430 Spyder makes a lot of sense!" Well, for one owner in this unknown locale, she/he thought their prancing horse could tackle just about anything.

They thought wrong.


A Ferrari 430 can easily be called a big success for the Italians from Maranello. Different from its competitor from Sant’Agata Bolognese, most Ferraris only get the power transfered to the rear wheels...

If that Ferrari is sporting performance summer tires (very likely), then it's no wonder it's doing poorly in the snow. The same is true for most cars. No news here.
